I took a good while and compared this 2015 version to last years model with Nvidia graphics and wrote out a full article as well as YouTube video Testing multiple benchmarking programs as well as 1080P and 4K tests with and without effects. With programs that are still biased towards CUDA the 2014 model is slightly better with the Nvidia card but most software is being updated and OpenCL will be taking over in the near future.
The raw power is similar between last years Nvidia GTX 750M (Apple lists 20% improvement). Apple already had one of the best trackpads and this is a big jump in quality, hard to go back to the 2014 after using this one. It allows you to press harder to get a secondary click for more functions on OS X as well as track sensitivity. If you didn't know it you wouldn't be able to tell! It fells just like a click but with the benefit of being quieter and more consistent no matter w. They swapped out the trackpad for a brand new design called force touch that doesn't actually click but simulates a click with magnets. For 2015 Apple has added a newer SSD thats over double the speed of last years (which was already faster than standard). If you take a look at last years model it has a 5 start rating and this one is even better.
